Description

Classic MIDI keyboard is ideal for organ hobbyists and organists alike. It is perfect for practising at home because the feel of this keyboard closely resembles the feel of the keyboards on consoles of better pipe-organs in churches. By connecting to a sound module and the Classic ‘AGO’ MIDI pedalboard, a low-cost, two-manual or three-manual home or studio organ can be constructed easily.

The CMK also comes with PC or Mac based configuration software. The side brackets also allow users to stack multiple Classic MIDI Keyboards in a two, three, four or five-manual organ-style configuration. Each keyboard can tilt back for easy access and maintenance.

With the two analog inputs, MIDI users can control volume and crescendo using the CMK. Furthermore, a built-in MIDI merge feature allows multiple keyboards and MIDI devices to be strung together.

The Classic MIDI Keyboard is intended to be connected to an Ahlborn Archive module, a MIDI sound module, or PC-based synthesizer software like Hauptwerk. For customizability, every Classic MIDI Keyboard is shipped with the Classic CMK Configuration software. This configuration software package makes it easy to set the output MIDI channels and the function of each individual piston.

The CMK is shipped partly assembled which allows customers to configure their portable organs to their own specifications.
