Description

This beautiful, deluxe, wood-veneer pedalboard uses a combination of heel and toe springs to produce an authentic organ pedalboard feel. It is designed and constructed using the classical methods of organ-builders.
The Classic ‘AGO ’ MIDI pedalboard is a technologically-advanced musical device. The pedalboard magnetic reed switches connect to the Classic MIDI Keyboard Scan Computer (MKSC-4). The electronics on this board perform MIDI-merge, transpose (up one octave and back to default), and selectable MIDI-channel output functions. Thus, multiple MIDI devices may be chained together to produce a single MIDI output stream. The transpose function allows organists to select their preference for the starting pitch associated with the first pedalboard key. A selectable MIDI channel output allows transmission of MIDI information on any one of sixteen standard MIDI channels.
The Classic ‘AGO’ MIDI pedalboard is shipped fully assembled and requires only MIDI and power connections. MIDI devices are connected to the ‘MIDI IN’ and ‘MIDI OUT’ connectors using a standard MIDI cable.
Organ enthusiasts no longer need to spend countless months searching and repairing an old pedalboard for their home organ masterpiece. The Classic ‘AGO’ pedalboard provides the look and feel of an authentic organ pedalboard. With the addition of Classic MIDI keyboards (CMK), a sound module , or a computer running Hauptwerk, you can create an inexpensive and impressive home organ.
